Collies As Service Dogs

Picture
I believe that due to their intelligence and sensitivity, as well as their intuitive ability to form close bonds with humans, collies are a perfect fit for service dog work. My ultimate goal is to start a Romany Collies service dog training program. Stay tuned for updates--I'm currently in the research phase of this project!

Meanwhile, two pups from Romany Collies, Tav and Glacier, are currently being trained by their owners as service dogs.  Our Spanish import collie Oliver is being used by his owner as an emotional support dog.

We hope to donate a pup from the upcoming litters to Sunstone Service Dogs in Rainier, OR.
